Payment Processing¶
Checkout is hosted by Ko-Fi, which acts as our payment gateway. Your purchase and payment details are processed on Ko-Fi’s platform. If you need payment help, see Payments.
Consumer Information (Distance Contracts)¶
Below is the key information you should see before you buy:
- Pre-contract information is shown on the order page and during checkout, before you complete your purchase.
- Prices include VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise. During the transition period, invoices may not yet display VAT separately, but VAT is included in the total price.
- Payment methods are those offered by Ko-Fi at checkout, currently including PayPal and Stripe.
- Geographic or payment restrictions: none at this time. If this changes, we will state it at the start of the order process.
Service Performance Timeline¶
In short, we start preparatory work as soon as an order is submitted. Once payment is received, we immediately provision resources and start the setup. The shortest time from order submission to the onboarding email (server installed) is about 1 hour. Total time depends on the selected configuration (on-premises vs. cloud hosting) and, most importantly, on how quickly the customer completes required prerequisites. If prerequisites are missing, delivery pauses until they are fulfilled, and we will follow up periodically.
Contract Duration and Termination¶
Subscriptions renew monthly. You can cancel at any time before the next renewal to avoid future charges. There is no long-term lock-in.
Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)¶
EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. This right does not apply to business-to-business (B2B) customers. Because you ask us to start immediately when you submit an order, you may owe a proportional amount for work already performed; if the service is fully performed after such request and acknowledgment, the right of withdrawal may be lost.
Refunds and Costs¶
If no work has started and no resources have been provisioned, a full refund is possible. If you request immediate performance and we begin work or provision non-recoverable resources (for example, a VPS), your refund may be reduced to cover the proportional cost of work performed and resources provisioned. We aim to be fair and transparent about any costs incurred.
