🎉 Ketesa — Synapse Admin has a new name!¶

If you’ve been using the admin panel at https://matrix.your-server.com/admin or admin.etke.cc, you may have already noticed the fresh new look. Today we’re making it official:

Synapse Admin is now Ketesa! 🚀

What changes for you?¶

Nothing. The URL, login flow, and your configuration all stay exactly the same — Ketesa is a zero-configuration drop-in replacement. Just open the panel as you always have and enjoy the improvements!

Why a new name?¶

The project has grown a lot since we forked it in August 2024. What started as small improvements turned into:

• 🎨 A full redesign with a cleaner, more consistent look
• 📱 A fully responsive, mobile-friendly interface
• 🌍 9 languages — every string translated, no stubs left behind
• 🔐 Matrix Authentication Service support

The new name reflects how far the project has come. We’re proud of it, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do! ❤️

Service Updates¶

March 2026 Subscription Migration - Grace Period Has Ended

Thank you to everyone who has already completed the migration! ❤️

For those who haven’t yet: the grace period we provided throughout March 2026 has now ended, and we have started decommissioning servers that have not been migrated. We want to be clear that we are doing this gradually, respecting each server’s original subscription due date - so you may still have time depending on when yours was due.

If you haven’t migrated yet, please don’t stress - just follow the step-by-step migration guide when you get a chance.
