#postmoogle:etke.cc got ACLs feature (you may limit usage to specific users or homeservers), admin users, ability to list and remove mailboxes and manage allowed users directly in matrix chats, without any server side config changes. More display options added as well (show/hide sender, show/hide subject, html or text-only emails, enable/disable email -> matrix threads, enable/disable attachments support).

• #postmoogle:etke.cc is a new component available for order on etke.cc website (existing customers may request it using etke.cc/contacts). Postmoogle is a new Email to Matrix bot that doesn’t require any server-side configuration during usage - you can do everything directly in the matrix room using simple commands like !pm mailbox name. Current Postmoogle’s feature list already exceeds the one for email2matrix, and it will evolve further over time and migrate from “bots” into the “bridges” category. Roadmap with implemented and planned features . Simple manual migration from email2matrix is also possible

whatsapp bridge update

Spaces support has been enabled for the whatsapp bridge. Existing users (matrix users with a bridged whatsapp account) should follow the following steps:

• server should be updated (either by run maintenance with etke.cc/scheduler or by automatic maintenance)
• (any) matrix user with bridged whatsapp account who wish to get their rooms put into a space should send the !wa sync space command to the whatsapp bridge bot (the !wa prefix may be omitted)

Manual migration should be performed only for existing matrix users who have bridged their whatsapp accounts (so that their existing rooms would be grouped into a Matrix space). Any users who bridge their whatsapp account in the future (after this update) will get spaces automatically without having to do anything
