We can setup and configure Matrix homeserver and components on your own VPS/VM/bare metal server/old laptop in the corner of your room (literally).

How does that setup work?
  1. We discuss with you what exactly you want to receive, including bridge-specific config options
  2. You provide us SSH access to a server that will be used for matrix homeserver, our public key: https://etke.cc/ssh.key
  3. We configure your server and your Matrix homeserver
  4. We send you matrix homeserver’s admin credentials (change your password) and links, notices, etc. for later usage
  5. We invite you to the updates room with news and updates about components, used by the matrix homeserver stack

We install and configure your matrix homeserver with desired options

We constantly maintain and update your server (including host and matrix updates & configuration)

We provide a full-featured email service for your domain (you@yourdomain.com), based on Migadu

Why prices are ridiculously low? All prices are based on Pay What You Want model with a minimal (floor) price set and we encourage you to pay more if you want.

1. Server details

To setup a matrix server, we need to know the following information (and yes, email is for your matrix server, used to obtain SSL certificates, and as fallback contact method if matrix message is not an option).

2. Client Apps

[matrix] is open protocol, so there are different client apps you can use with your homeserver. We provide following web clients out of the box so you don't need to install anything.

A Matrix client where you can enjoy the conversation using simple, elegant and secure interface. The most beautiful app.

A glossy web client with an emphasis on performance and usability. All new matrix features implemented in that app first.

Web client focusing on personal messaging, performance, offline usage and wide browser support, including mobile! Experimental app, lacks features.

3. Components

You can extend your homeserver with bridges to different chat networks and additional "non-Matrix" components.

Bridges

all bridges configured in double-puppeting mode by default

Additional services

most part of the components below doesn’t have integration with matrix

Additional options for Maintenance and Turnkey subscribers

You just need a domain name. We provide you a Hetzner VPS of your choice, Migadu Email Service for your domain, and setup the matrix server.

How does the turnkey setup work?
  1. We discuss with you what exactly you want to receive, including bridge-specific config options
  2. You subscribe to one of the Turnkey membership options
  3. We send you two lists of DNS entries (one for matrix, the second one for email)
  4. You set the entries in your domain management dashboard
  5. We invite you to the updates room with news and updates about components, used by the matrix homeserver stack
  6. We send you an onboarding list with all links, credentials, and notes
